As a final wrap up on our glorious day of whimsical romance, I have gathered up some of my favorite pictures from the talented photographers that attended this undeniably gorgeous event, hosted by the ever so lovely photographer Jessica Claire. These photographs are all about the pretty. A truly incredible look at the event through the eye of many lenses and various perspectives. I absolutely appreciate this magnificent canvas, full to the brim of beautiful and awe-inspiring details, that Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings crafted to perfection. Blissfully breathtaking beyond belief! Just another confirmation of why I love my job.

Whimsical Romance, III

Megan Gonzalez of Mae Mae Paperie was responsible for all of the delightful paper goods created for Jessica Claire's glorious photography workshop that has me absolutely smitten with glee. The goal was to create exquisite details for Jessica to use to teach workshop attendees her personal tips and tricks for shooting magazine-worthy wedding details. With a royal list of elite vendors on board, this faux wedding photo shoot was infused with the most charming design and styling that I have ever seen created. Kind of right out of a dream. And here are more of the details that have me floating on cloud nine...

Introducing the Up & Away invitation suite created by Mae Mae Paperie. I love the ever so soft, subtle, muted colors that pair perfectly with the vintage hot air balloons. My definition of lovely perfection.

A lover of fine paper goods myself, I strongly believe in gorgeous correspondence. Stationary elements are a wonderful way for hostess' to indulge in the popular DIY movement. Crafty and chic pieces can be created on a budget that's friendly on your pocketbook with a bit of creativity. For this workshop, Summer created a cohesive design by incorporating various elements of vintage paper goods.

"One of the most affordable ways to incorporate a consistent look throughout your wedding is through the use of paper. Whether you choose a pattern, a solid color or even type, paper can be a rather affordable decorative element that is so versatile, you really can't lose. If your handy with the computer, savvy with scissors or know your way around a copy machine, the possibilities (from paper flowers to paper cranes) really are endless." -Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings via Utterly Engaged

Whimsical Romance, II

Impossibly beautiful. Two words that effortlessly define the undeniably gorgeous styling that Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings performed for the photography workshop hosted by Jessica Claire. It’s the kind of style that I hope to model my home after one day. An aesthetic that's ever so whimsical, but not too extravagant. Elegant but not stuffy. Eclectic, meaningful and filled to the brim with vintage, but oh-so-chic details. Clearly, I could go on and on about this awe-inspiring photo shoot. It really is just that wonderful.

Hands down, this is as good as it gets in the realm of creativity. The artistic design and styling is practically bursting at the seams with lovely details straight out of a glossy magazine. Love, love, love does not begin to describe my affection for this gorgeousness. Stay tuned, we have a full day of eye candy that will surely make your heart pitter patter.

Whimsical Romance

Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings is one of the most inspiring talents that I have ever come across. Truly. I often find myself gazing through old blog posts for inspiration, and consistently, I always fall short of air when stumbling upon one of her lovely projects. Her talent for design is spot on and she is clearly one of the most craft savvy individuals within her artistic field of floral and wedding design. Beyond being artistically gifted, Summer is generous with her time and creative knowledge and teaches brides all about the DIY perspective on weddings. A girl after my own heart, Summer's inspiring designs often translate into whimsical romance. How divine.

Photographer extraordinaire Jessica Claire held a photography workshop for up and comers and industry pro's alike, all styled by Summer Watkins of Grey Likes Weddings and the result was purely magnificent. Although today's couture inspiration made the blog rounds late last year, I absolutely believe it is worth featuring again. The styling is timeless, the details alone are insanity, and the whimsical color palette is so dreamy. It rests as a platform of steal worthy ideas that can easily be translated in so many different directions. A romantic Valentine's Day affair, A Mother's Day brunch, or even a blissful baby shower perhaps? And I have a feeling you're going to be enamored with all of it's glory just as much as I am.

A Vintage Affair, II

Today's vintage affair is just oozing with drool-worthy appeal and I am soaking it up! Shot by the incredibly talented Jessica Claire (CA) and designed by the equally gifted Kate Holt (Los Angeles, CA) and Rebecca Stone (Los Angeles, CA) this vintage Hollywood photo shoot just might be the right inspiration you need for your very own Valentine's Day affair. Pairing a perfectly balanced eclectic and whimsical style and bursting with lush, romantic, and raspberry hues, these remarkable designers have defined for us all exquisite taste and sense of style. Well, enough of my gushing, let's get down to the details!

First things first, can we just have a moment for this dress? {Sigh}, breathtaking is it not? From the vintage ivory lace overlay to the ornate floral appliqués, this wedding dress is oh-so perfect for an intimate garden soirée!

A Vintage Affair

Exquisite. Timeless. Ethereal. I love those words. Perhaps for some they might be too cliché, but quite frankly, they excite me. They always have. I'd like to think that they might define my own sense of style, or even my very own wedding. To be perfectly honest here, I've never been much of a simple girl. I love the unexpected, I love to push the envelope, and I love to take the route less traveled. I'm just a bit complicated. Lucky for me, my husband just seems to get it.

Well, thankfully I am not alone. It seems with each passing day, I come across more and more brides who share a similar perspective. From the Über-chic affairs to the oh-so charming backyard weddings, one thing is for certain: it's all in the details! It's the simplest of details that translate a couple's love. And today's lovely detail-oriented feature speaks volumes! Just take a peek!
